Iorian Otsu

This share house is located in Katata, a well-developed and comfortable residential area in the Kosei region. It offers an excellent location with direct train access to Kyoto Station in just 23 minutes, without any transfers.
Heading slightly north, you will find swimming areas, campgrounds, and nature-rich sightseeing spots, while to the east lies the beautiful Lake Biwa, just moments away. Crossing the bridge brings you to Moriyama City, and to the west, a magnificent mountain range stretches across the horizon, offering stunning sunset views.
The share house was created from a former owner’s premium residence located on the top floor of a reinforced concrete apartment building. Originally designed with comfort and luxury in mind, this spacious residence was fully transformed into a share house in 2025.
Being on the top floor of an earthquake-resistant RC structure with elevator access is another appealing feature, providing both safety and everyday convenience.

Features of Iorian Otsu

Luxurious Private Rooms with Ample Storage

All private rooms are spacious, measuring over 6 tatami mats in size, and are equipped with more than enough closet space. Some rooms feel like a walk-in dressing room, featuring around ten individual closets, while others come with a private balcony or a sunroom, offering a wide variety of unique room options that make choosing one a delightful challenge.
No matter which room you choose, each is finished to a luxurious standard, and the views from the windows are outstanding. This is an exceptionally comfortable and upscale share house that redefines the very idea of shared living.

A Living Room Like a Co-Working Space

The spacious living room is highly recommended, offering an environment where you can both work and relax comfortably. To encourage residents to gather, interact, and connect, the space is thoughtfully designed with a sunken kotatsu-style seating area, table seating, and even a hammock area, allowing multiple people to use the living room at the same time without feeling crowded.
In addition, as the apartment is located on the top floor, there are several balconies with open and beautiful views. These balconies provide a perfect place to enjoy quiet personal time—such as sipping coffee or reading a book alone—making this share house a space that values both community and privacy.

Safe and Clean Management System

  • Regular Cleaning: Shared areas are cleaned on a regular basis to maintain a clean and comfortable environment.
  • Management Support: In the event of any issues or problems, the management team responds promptly to ensure residents can live with peace of mind.
