hisaharu大津 〜湖西の静かな暮らし〜

This share house is located in one of the most well-developed and comfortable residential areas on the western side of Lake Biwa. The neighborhood conveniently brings together everything you might need, including home improvement stores (such as Cainz and Komeri), MUJI, Starbucks Coffee, McDonald’s, and a general hospital—all within easy reach.
The natural surroundings are equally impressive. The sun rises over the vast and beautiful Lake Biwa in the morning and sets behind the mountain range to the west in the evening, offering stunning views throughout the day. Along the lakeside, you can also enjoy swimming areas, BBQ spots, and various outdoor activities.
With only five private rooms, this is a small-scale share house designed for comfort and space. All rooms are generously sized at over 6 tatami mats and are equipped with televisions. The fully enclosed garden provides a completely private outdoor space, where carefully maintained trees—professionally trimmed by a gardener—can be enjoyed throughout the seasons.
Rather than the lively and bustling atmosphere often associated with share houses, this is a home for those who wish to live calmly and peacefully while appreciating the beauty of nature.

Features of hisaharu

Bright and Sun-Filled Private Rooms

Each private room features excellent natural light and large windows. With sufficient distance from neighboring buildings, plenty of morning sunlight fills the room, creating a warm and bright atmosphere.
The windows are equipped with insect screens and blackout curtains for added comfort and convenience. As the rooms are already well furnished, you can move in with only minimal personal belongings.

Nature and Convenience in Perfect Balance

Surrounded by mountains and Lake Biwa, this compact area offers a rare combination of rich nature and everyday convenience. Shops and services are clustered close together, allowing easy access to both beautiful natural surroundings and essential amenities. This balance is one of the area’s greatest attractions.
Although it is filled with greenery, the neighborhood remains practical for daily life, with supermarkets, clinics, and other facilities nearby. Because of this unique location, we receive many inquiries not only from nearby cities but also from overseas, including Europe and North America.
If you wish to live close to nature while still having convenient access to shops and hospitals, this area offers the best of both worlds. The owner of this share house works at a general hospital, and consultations regarding stays combined with medical treatment or recovery are also possible
